Jacob Patching and Jacob Skidmore, both aged 19, died when a white BMW 3 Series left the carriageway and struck a lamppost on East Bawtry Road, Rotherham, at about 6.43pm on September 26. Emergency services attended but both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
The families of the two men have shared tributes, describing them as caring and kind. Jacob Patching's family said he was a loyal, hardworking, caring and kind young man with a contagious sense of humour and a love for the outdoors.
In a tribute, his family said: "Our whole lives have changed beyond measure in an instant and the pain left behind is immeasurable. Nothing will ever be the same without him."
The families are being supported by family liaison officers and asked for their tributes to be shared.
