MR WHIPPY PREPARES TO RAMP UP PRODUCTION AT £15M ROTHERHAM FACTORY

Mr Whippy is preparing to move towards full production at its new £15 million manufacturing facility in Rotherham.

The 23,000-square-foot-plus Woodhouse Link factory near Fence has already begun test production of doughnuts following the completion of its specialist food-production fit-out. The facility brings manufacturing, packing and distribution together on one site and is expected to create more than 50 jobs as production increases.

A ten-strong senior team is already in place as the company prepares to ramp up operations.
