A Rotherham man is due before Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 7 October charged with preparing acts of terrorism.
Joshua Kerry, 28, of Byrley Road in Rotherham, is accused of engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts.
The Crown Prosecution Service says the alleged activity included preparations involving Reform UK leader Nigel Farage MP.
The charge relates to alleged conduct between 31 May 2024 and 8 July 2026.
Kerry has also separately been charged with murder.
He has not been convicted of either allegation.
Proceedings remain active and he has the right to a fair trial.
