Rotherham Council has confirmed that a single CCTV van is available for parking enforcement across more than 200 schools in the borough.
The van is used to tackle congestion, illegal parking and unsafe driving around school gates, issues the council says remain concerns for many families across Rotherham.
The authority has also set out the options it is considering to improve safety outside schools, including lower speeds, temporary road closures and more enforcement.
